Hong Kong
Feb. 4 - 5, 2016 (2D1N): Leg 1 of the 2016 Asia trip, and it was my first time visiting HK post-1997. Growing up in Taiwan, I have been to HK numerous times with my family. While HK is small, there is definitely a lot more to see than 2D1N..ideally, spend 2-3 nights here would be perfect. It is also food heaven and a shopper's paradise!! From here, you can travel to Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo, and Southeast Asia such as Bali, Bangkok, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Tips
If you happen to be flying Cathay Business class, take advantage of the Arrival lounge to shower & refuel when you land. When departing on Cathay Business class, stop by The Wing, it is their flagship lounge and the best of all!
Hotel Indigo has an amazing pool (see picture below), but it was closed for maintenance during our visit. Make sure you check with the hotel prior to booking it.
Be wary when buying any electronic stuff at the Ladies market. We bought a bunch of cartoon character USB sticks for $1 each and none of them worked.
You need to have exact change to ride the Ding Ding.
If you are taking the Airport Express, you can pre-check in your luggage at the train station.
