Since joining Equinox in June 2017, I have visited all the Equinox locations in Manhattan (including Destination clubs). Here are the 3 things you need to know about the club. If you are looking for a free trial at Equinox, contact me below with your full name and email address and I will get you a pass!
+ lotion in the shower
- elevator access needed to get to the gym, dated shower stalls
- yoga room is very noisy
+ spacious locker room w/ steam room & sauna
+ view of the rink
- slow elevator getting up to the lobby
+ centrally located
- extremely crowded during weekdays
- workout facility is at the basement levels
+ equipped with Playground Experience
- workout facility is at the basement level
- closed on the weekends
+ well situated inside Grand Central
- crowded locker room during weekdays
- closed on Sunday
+ lots of vanity space in the women's locker room
+/- lack of windows in the facility except for the yoga room
- small stretch space and threadmills do not have individual TVs
+ beautifully renovated locker room with double shower stalls
+ cardio machines are new with individual TVs
- closed on Sunday and closes early on Saturday with only one class
+/- shower stalls are dated and only half are double stalls but a large vanity area
- workout areas are not surrounded by windows and cardio machines do not have individual TVs
- no yoga studio, classes are taught in the main studio
+ beautiful outdoor pool with an amazing view of the Vessel
+ a separate indoor lap pool with jacuzzi and a cold dipping pool
- destination membership only
