Since joining Equinox in June 2017, I have visited all the Equinox locations in Manhattan (including Destination clubs). Here are the 3 things you need to know about the club. + many walk-in only classes
- no hot/heated yoga room
- only 3 double shower stalls
+ centrally located
+/- double shower stalls but tends to be dirty
- very crowded during the week
+ open space concept and yoga room w/ a view
+ spacious and clean locker/steam rooms
- lack of eucalyptus towels by the yoga studio
+ classes are not crowded during weekday lunch time
+ recently renovated locker rooms
- treadmills are packed and do not face windows
+ beautiful crowd
+/- locker room is crowded but double shower stalls
- very crowded during the week
+ tons of seating area for catching up on work
- very crowded during the week
- only 3 double shower stalls and not enough hair dryers
+ well situated inside of Brookfield mall
+ beautiful view of the Hudson river & NJ when lifting weights
- super crowded locker room during weekday
+ spacious locker room
+ open layout and you can watch TV during cycling class
- no afternoon classes on weekends
+ salt water swimming pool but no jacuzzi
+ spacious workout space with 3 floors of cardio machines/weights and lots of windows
- newly renovated locker rooms but shower stalls are crammed
+ newest Equinox location with new machines and individual TV cardio machines
+ sleek locker room with double shower stalls
- layout is a bit odd and crowded
+ beautiful outdoor pool, but crowded on the weekends
- only way to get to the locker room is via freight elevator
- destination membership only
