Ristorante Caterina de’ Medici

While it is one of the three main restaurants under the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, it is difficult to find the right time to visit as it closes on weekends and major holidays.

As I was pondering on where to eat while spending the weekend in Garrison, I went onto Opentable and found an opening for Caterina de' Medici at 8 pm!  Little did I know, it is their special pasta dinner every Saturday between Feb. 3 to July 21. 

For $39 pp, you get to share salad and antipasti (salami, olives, cheese) as starters and sample as much of the 5 different pasta dishes!  My favorite one was the risotto and my friend enjoyed the penne. But it doesn't really matter as you get to try them ALL!!! 🍝

Now that you are stuffed with pasta, they bring out a gigantic chocolate cake...

What a wonderful meal! We walked away stuffed and happy!!
