Cartagena
Jan. 31 - Feb. 2, 2012 (3D3N): We visited Cartagena after Bogota. This part of Colombia has more of the Caribbean vibe than rest of the country. The walled city was very cute and charming; but if you are looking for a beach getaway, the Bahamas is a better bet!

Tips
If you are looking for a white sand beach experience, find your way to Playa Blanco or Isla del Rosario. We did not do this, the beach by Cartagena were all brown sand.
