Hi there!

Welcome to my journal. I document my travel experiences around the world by sharing travel itineraries and restaurant reviews so you can travel better and smarter!

Please check back for updates on my latest finding!

Paris

Paris

Nov. 23 - 26, 2012 (4D3N):  Leg 3 of our Spain/Paris trip where we visited Madrid & Barcelona prior to Paris.  Given this was my 3rd time visiting Paris, we skipped a couple of attractions that were time-consuming (i.e. Louvre and Norte Dame Bell Towers), but please refer to them under other points of interest.

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

  • Train (suburban line) from Gare de Lyon to direction Monterau and get off at Fontainebleau-Avon station (~40 mins); A1 bus to Chateau

  • Train back to Paris

  • Metro to Place de la Concorde

  • Walk to Louis Vuitton @ Champs-Elysees

  • Visit Eiffel Tower (make an appointment ahead of time to go to the top)

  • Crepes @ Grand Blvd

Day 4

  • Printemps to purchase LongChamp and my first Chanel <3

  • Metro from hotel to Airport

  • Flight back to NYC

Other points of interest

Tips

  • I prefer visiting Fontainebleau over Versailles. It is less crowded and you get to walk through the castle at your own leisure without bumping into other tourists.

  • Most stores & shops are closed on Sunday except for shops in Champs-Elyses (enjoy LV!)

  • You can always find good prices at Airport duty-free for French goods

  • Do learn the basic French, you will have a better experience there
